Né à Toronto d'un père argentin et d'une mère italienne, Lucas Cavallini a inscrit 19 buts en 40 sélections internationales. Il fut l'un des premiers Canadiens à jouer en Liga MX depuis 2010. Vétéran de la Coupe du Monde 2022 au Qatar. Disputera la Coupe du Monde 2026 avec le Canada.
