AZ Alkmaar midfielder who joined the club's academy at age nine and has been labelled a Kevin De Bruyne regen. Smit scored on his Europa League debut against Fenerbahce in 2024 and helped the Netherlands U19 win the 2025 UEFA European Under-19 Championship, earning Player of the Tournament honors.
